In & Out! Messi Reportedly Draws Up a List of Players He Wants Barca to Sign AND Get Rid Of

Barcelona star Lionel Messi wants the club to sign Arsenal full-back Hector Bellerin, according to Spanish reports.

Don Balon, as reported by HITC, claim Messi has singled out Bellerin as a player Barcelona should target in the summer. The Catalan club have been stretched for options at right-back this season, failing to replace Dani Alves after the Brazilian left for Juventus.

Sergi Roberto has figured heavily on the right side of defence but the 25-year-old has been unconvincing, being more at home in a midfield role. Despite a disappointing season Bellerin is still regarded as one of Europe’s most promising defenders, with an eagerness to get forward matched by a solid defensive awareness.
Arsenal have been sloppy at the back as of late, conceding 40 goals in the Premier League, the second worst record among the current top six bar Liverpool, who have leaked 42. Bellerin was dropped after a poor performance against Crystal Palace but came back into the side for the 1-0 win over Leicester.

Messi also wants PSG midfielder Marco Verratti at the Nou Camp, perhaps after being impressed by the Italian’s performances in the Champions League matches between the French and Spanish sides.

Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is another on Messi’s radar, due to his performances in the Premier League this season, while Monaco winger Bernardo Silva has also caught the forward’s eye.
Messi is also said to want a number of Barcelona players out at the end of the season. A separate report from Don Balon claims Andre Gomes, Denis Suarez, Javier Mascherano, Jeremy Mathieu and Paco Alcacer are all at risk of being sold in the summer, with Messi reportedly unimpressed by their collective performances this season.
