The Blues have been bracing themselves for bids from across Europe and even the worst case scenario of selling their star man. However, Antonio Conte’s side may have been boosted by one report saying that the Belgian superstar is keen to stay.

That is if the club can complete two tasks for the former Lille man; win the Premier League and then have a strong transfer window, according to Le 10.
The news should come as music to the ears of Chelsea fans with both of Hazard’s wishes looking all but set to come to fruition.

The Blues currently sit four points ahead in the title race with as many games to go and given Conte’s activity in the last transfer window, fans can expect the club to act in a similar manner again.

David Luiz, Michy Batshuayi, N’Golo Kante and Marcos Alonso were all brought in for fees close to or just over £30m, and with the guaranteed prospect of Champions League football next season, the Blues will be able to aim even higher in the summer.

Hazard is also said to be a big fan of Conte, a further indication that the Belgian will stay put for at least another year.

After a severe decline under Jose Mourinho in 2015, the Blues are back at the pinnacle of English football and if they can keep hold of their star man, they could launch a serious assault on Europe next season.
